Our one proven way to apply maximizes outcomes and minimizes mistakes

Cohort catches juniors and seniors up on our timeline no matter where they are

What is Cohort’s one proven way to apply?

No matter where you start, you will follow the exact same optimized timeline that anchors our program. Our timeline is the result of a decade of successful college outcomes. It has been tested and improved in every application cycle since 2014.

Cohort’s one proven way to apply teaches you to think like an admissions officer so that you develop an intuition for what makes a great application. Unlike traditional college counseling, we don’t charge you hourly. We’ve found that charging hourly incentivizes piecemeal application review. This limits the student’s ownership of the process and, more often than not, outcomes.

We follow a “teach-and-do” model that teaches you what matters to admissions officers and why, and then we actually do it live. This means you receive immediate feedback on how to do it better. We’ve found that this live feedback model turns feedback into a lesson that the student carries forward. We never assign busy work, which is another reason why our students can focus on making their applications as compelling as possible.

While we are proud of the outcomes our students achieve, we are most proud that our students become self-sufficient by the end of this process.
