Ambassador responsibilities:

Ambassadors must do the following to remain in Cohort’s program:

  • Share Cohort and other college admissions-related content on either TikTok or Instagram

  • Meet weekly expectations for posting frequency and view count

Ambassadors get full access to Cohort’s college guidance, which includes:

  • 1:1 guidance from mentors who graduated from a top school

  • Small group Strategy Sessions

  • Access to the Cohort Platform to manage your entire admissions process

FAQs

  • Ambassadors must meet one of the following two criteria each week:

    1. Post at least 5x/week and get 1000+ views.

    2. Post at least 2x/week and get 5000+ views.

    If you successfully gain a following, these requirements will become easier with time.

  • You will post on your own account. You are welcome to create a separate account, but know that your reach will be more limited.

    You can post on either TikTok or Instagram.

  • Cohort and college admissions-related content is loosely defined. We want our ambassadors to have some creative freedom, but you should attract an audience of high school students who are thinking about college admissions.

    Here are a few other general content guidelines:

    • Be a good community member!

    • Do not post anything offensive

    • Do not disparage Cohort or its mentors

  • You must continue posting to remain a part of Cohort. We will have a one-month trial period to see if you can be successful as a Cohort Ambassador; if you do not meet our expectations, that will be a natural stopping point.

    We reduce posting expectations in December and early January for seniors applying to college.

  • We understand that life gets in the way. If you fall short one week, we'll give you a warning. If you fall short a second week, then we will remove you from the program.

Selection criteria

We are looking for students who we believe will:

  1. Successfully promote Cohort on social media

  2. Take advantage of Cohort’s college admissions program

In the application, we will ask you directly about these two things. Convince us that you can do both!

We are looking for students who meet the following criteria:

  • High school student with plans to attend a 4-year university

  • US citizen or resident
